I’ve been meaning to get on here for a while now. This year has already taken a toll on me. I can’t say that it’s been all bad, but it has been a learning experience. I’m still taking time to adjust and grow and mature, (which really only comes with time.) I’m still working on that ’sucking the poison out’ idea. I’m not going to lie .. it’s tough. By human nature I am a jealous, angry, selfish, and stubborn person. But if I let those qualities rule my life I don’t think I’d be very happy at all. I think I need to prioritize and balance everything and try to keep in mind whats really important to me because I think I lose sight of that often.
In other news, I dyed my hair :) It’s a caramel-like color only darker and slightly more red. Apparently no one can tell the difference, but I like it, I can tell. I think I want to go slightly lighter by adding some highlights but nothing big. Deprise helped me dye it last night when I slept over her house. It’s always nice staying over her house, that place is more home to me than where I actually live. I also really miss my cousins. I was supposed to stay over their new house for a couple of nights but unfortunately they live rather far away and there are some driving technicalities that can’t be worked out. I hope to visit them soon though.
I believer I’m going to see Coraline on Friday! I’m pretty excited about that, I’ve been wanting to see it for a while now. Hopefully it all works out. Andd, complete change of subjects, I’m really into Jason Mraz’s new stuff, smooth jazz, and Corinne Bailey Rae/Missy Higgins music lately. I’m also reading this book called The Red Tent, which I haven’t had much time to get to in the past few days, but it’s really good. My mom has already read it like three times, and the genre/type of talee isn’t particularly of my choice but the author is really great. She brings a lot of character to the story and I love it.
I also have to work tomorrow morning at ten so I’m going to wrap it up here because I’ve started to yawn. Goodnight.
